Design
Together with photographer Michael Powers, I produced a series of portrait sessions with community members from a nonprofit organization. To unite images made by Powers and by myself, I edited the images, curated a final selection, and worked with designer Omar López to create a three-piece mailed appeal (letter, card, envelope).

“Answered Every Call” Fundraising Appeal
Photography
This print and social campaign told the story of a long-running crisis hotline that had been active for 40 years. With designer Omar López, we anchored the campaign visuals on the evolution of phones since the hotline’s early days in the 1970s; rotary, payphone, home phones, and mobiles. I scouted phone booths, sourced antiques, and produced, shot, and edited the images.

In a series of conversations, low-income women from across California convened for discussions about their experience since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Culminating in a 30-page report and launch event for policymakers in Sacramento, “Everything at Once” was a powerful instance of truth spoken to power on behalf of vulnerable Californians.
