Beginning with only a logo, as the in-house designer at GSO, I instituted visual brand standards for the growing nonprofit. I developed two interrelated styles; one formal, for fundraising and reporting, and one geared toward marketing, education, and media.

CalEITC

2021-2024

Multi-language
Print design, management, and distribution

CalEITC for Me is an educational initiative about state tax credits. I redesigned a suite of material with special attention to information architecture, legibility, and a sturdy, vertically-flexible template that accomodates language and image variations.

Fourteen languages are represented in this set. Working with translators, typographers, and community groups, CalEITC material is vetted to be accessible and easy to understand. Hundreds of thousands of prints are distributed across California each tax season.

Denim Day

2017-2021

Graphic design
Production + print management
Portrait + documentary photography

Denim Day is an annual campaign promoting prevention and education about sexual violence. With roots in Los Angeles since 1971, Denim Day is now recognized and observed across the country.

The Denim Day creative team is responsible for all digital campaign communications and toolkits as well as wraparound collateral for in-person events: press, products, event signage, and more.

#DVAF

2018

DVAF was an awareness campaign about domestic violence. With images from Mochilla photographer B+ and designed with Omar Lรณpez, this campaign was realized in out-of-home ads, a IG story series, and event collateral.
