I shot these at Broad Art Center at UCLA for the 2008 design | media art senior yearbook. These photos were part of a collaboration with Nick Soni; he used the photos in a layout he designed.

I shot these images of Nancy Ramos in 2007. At the time, Nancy had been HIV positive for 15 years. She lives in Whittier, California with her son, Ray.

I did some photos of an early rehearsal for Bermuda! yesterday. The energy and talent was impressive, the attitude was amazing, and the shoot was a lot of fun. These are my favorites; the more dynamic of the photos. We also shot some cast head shots to appear on Bermuda!’s event page at Facebook.

just a handful of images from an old vivtar xv-3 with a fixed 50mm manual lens. i used drugstore 100 speed film for these. the dust is from the scanner i used, not the film or camera.
i’ve heard the film/digital photography relationship compared  to vinyl/digital music recordings. this is like finding a scratch-free neil young [...]
