ladies and gentlemen, we are moving again. leaving this fabulous place. our month of extravagance and finery has passed. but a new era is about to begin at the marvelous mckibbin lofts (lord spare me the bedbugs). we have some cleaning supplies and are determined to stay optimistic.

it’s just two miles away this time, amen, and we’ve been afforded the luxury of the afternoon off work to move (ai! it’s not even dark yet!). but please don’t expect much in the way of updates for the rest of the week. here’s a weekend recap to hold you over.

friends:

if i may urge you, GO SEE COLLABO tonight. they’ve built a big, beautiful piece called “A Manifestation of Collective Subconscious” as part of Autumn Lights Festival in Pershing Square. it is a heartbreakingly good installation! heartbreaking because i can’t be there, good because COLLABO is going to eschew the industry-style dance vids we’ve been focusing on recently and opt for big, geometric structures and smart, expressive, sexy, dreamy video content.

as most of you probably know, COLLABO was founded by designers + media artists + programmers. the installation they’ve built for autmun lights incorporates all of that, plus there will be some other fun groups there tonight, so go have a look. or have an experience. enough! viva collabo.
